Eating Out / Social Diary

Late Post: A Glossy Sunday

Posted on / by GlossyTimes

Most of you have been following me for a year or so, but I am sure there a couple of things you don’t know about me. In fact, things I didn’t know about myself. For example that I like to box. It feels kind of good to let all your aggression, you accumulate over the years, out. My husband and me are the same person. Male and female version. Other than that, the same. We like the same, we eat the same, we think the same, we feel the same. Sounds funny, but I married myself.

So either we are ultra lazy and barely leave the bed, just watching Conan O’Brian or we get up early and meet million of people until late at night. Usually our weekends are stuffed with dates with friends and family. The place we love to visit the most is DOTS in the 19th district. It’s the oldest Heuriger in Vienna. Well, it was. Now it’s a Sushi place and I love it. Especially summertime is brilliant as there is no nicer terrace than this one. Good music, great people watching, awesome food. 100% no advertisement, we always leave a small fortune on the table. We are regulars, as we are at the Imperial, our second home. Where we met Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall this Sunday and Franca Sozzani 3 weeks ago. And when I say “met”, I mean they passed by our table.  When Martin Ho, the owner launched a cooking book (old story), I was super happy as my dear Petra von Kazynian was pictured with her hubby Stavros in the book. Even her atelier got a generous feature. When flipping through the book the last time, we even discovered my husband’s hairdresser. He is THE man about town and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get an appointment. So when my husband meets with his peers, they discuss their haircuts  for a while before talking about cars.

So after our usual Sunday activity I decided to join my husband for some Sunday boxing as I gained weight and feel like a whale. Maybe I can force Jenny to do a closet diary one day. Until then you have to live with my Leica pics.

Skirt: Peter Som, Shoes: Chanel,  Jacket: Prada (no, I decided not to go to the Prada opening as shop openings bore the **** out of me), Bag: Hermes, all  last season, oooops, collectors items of course. And yes, I am THAT pale.

Stay elegant,

B.
