My new private Instagram Account

Posted on / by GlossyTimes

Actually I wanted to write a post along the lines of “When is it time to stop blogging”, as I see so many bloggers with no traction but still in the game for a free lunch or a sample cream. And then I thought, damn, that’s me!  So, let’s skip my advice for other bloggers who obviously don’t earn their living with this stuff but still try to pursue their little hobby.

If you ask me how I measure traction, I would say followers and engagement. Real engagement. Somebody with 40.000 followers on Instagram but 20 likes and no comments is unlikely to have traction. Same for FB or the blog. I decided to open my own Insta account with my real name as I wanted to have my own voice and not spoil it for my company. I feel like a rockstar. 1 month old and 115 followers. BAM. It somehow feels fine as I can do whatever I want as nobody is watching. In fact, I booked my summer holidays last week. It’s gonna be an amazing trip as we planned a tour through Italy. It all started with a coffee with my dear Lilia where we discussed that we should go to Capri this summer. And we ended up with a group of friends renting an amazing house on the Amalfi coast. I am so excited, I can’t tell you. My husband decided to take the car and visit Venice, Rom, Naples, Florence and Velden.  So you can expect some really promising pictures from the tour. I will excessively use Insta as I am really organised for the first time in my life. We will rent a boat which picks us up from our private beach and takes us to Capri, next day Positano, and then Ravello. My husband is particularly excited about the jet skis. And the girls look forward to the private beach. I can’t wait. Until then, enjoy my London/Vienna/Munich life.

Stay elegant,

B.

Impressive hair! And a trip plan sounds promising. When on Capri, try to walk around the island, spectacular nature and amazing Casa Malaparte, I have heard it’s possible to visit it sometimes. I love Italy! Just moving out from MC and the only thing I really loved about staying here was Italy so close. Wish you a lovely and SAFE trip.

We will move out at the end of July and shuttle between MC and Warsaw. It’s a place for kids-free people. Driving every day to Nice for school pick up was too much for me and a security situation in France is another headache:( try to visit Solomeo (Brunello Cucinelli place) when in Italy. I am absolutely in love with Italy, it’s people, culture, love everything about it. Looking for a property there and hope to live there when kids-free;)

Cool, I love Warsaw. And, yes , I always had the impression that Monaco is not really meant to host families…one of the reasons, I like Vienna is so much, that being a young couple, kids are easy to raise here when they are little…….so only the kids are missing for now….:-)
