My friend went to the Sacher spa for a facial once and people burned her upper lip when waxing it (two weeks before her WEDDING). Since that happening I am quite sensitive regarding that topic. I don’t wax my face but I have a sensitive skin. Makes sense as I am a sensitive person, remember I always cry.
So after 4 years of loyal visits to a really old cosmetic studio in the Habsburggasse (Monika Riemer) my dermatologist recommended me, I thought it is time to try something new. So I went to Moser Milani, where friends of mine did some plastic surgery (nose, boobs ect. ) before. Being a MedSpa I thought this might be the right place to get some questions answered like “Doctor, do I REALLY need Botox yet? Or something else?” And the answer was no, absolutely no. There is nothing which needs to be done than a nice facial. And I was relieved. Just because I don’t see any wrinkles doesn’t mean that there ARE no wrinkles. I am an ignorant person what should I say?
So I enjoyed a 90 minutes treatment and the lady (whose name I forgot already something with s) was very friendly and professional. I loved the music, the smell, the studio and whole atmosphere. And St. Barth of course. It reminded me a lot of the nice spas in Paris, London or New York. During the treatment she was always asking if she can offer me this and that and I started to calculate in my head and was preparing to face a bill of 300 Euros or more. It is kind of embarrassing to ask during the treatment “how much is the eye pad you are using right now”? But it was very ok. 150 Euros is what you pay these days for a nice treatment. Fullstop.
When leaving the place my face wasn´t that swollen anymore, my eyes were brighter and my skin was glowing. I loved it. And we all know that I am hypercritical, specially when it comes to beauty treatments. When leaving the place I fell in love with the St. Barth Vanilla perfume. 86 Euros. It stays forever, not like my Hermés essence perfume which fades after 10 minutes and costs double.
